Grace Bible Church Maui Partners,                 

Thank you for your incredible generosity and partnership with us in supporting the families of Lahaina. The devastation is deep and goes beyond physical needs. In the midst of disaster, the people of God are showing inspirational faith, courage and leadership.

Our newest project is developing long term housing for Lahaina families on our eight acres of land. Our first Boxabl (tiny model home) arrived.  We will add homes as funds come in and we hope to have 35 homes to meet the growing demand for housing. This is our greatest need right now!

We have distributed over $531,000 directly into the hands of 1,100 Lahaina families who lost their homes in the wildfires. We have built strong relationships and are continuing to provide counseling and care.

We also continue to provide our Police Department and National Guard every day with water, energy drinks, protein shakes and protein bars for the outposts in the Lahaina areas where traffic detours and road security is needed.

In December, we hosted a Lahaina Keiki Christmas and provided over 1,000 gifts, served 1,200 meals (pancakes, sausage & fried rice) with over 150 volunteers! We offered face painting, jumping castles, photo booths, Santa and special performances by Wilmont Kahialii and band. It was an amazing event that blessed our Lahaina families and brought our island together.

So much has happened since the tragedy of August 8th. Early in the crisis, we were able to:

  • Shelter evacuees at our church & church members homes

  • Provide 4,000+ meals for first responders and evacuees

  • Daily deliveries of fuel, water & medical supplies by boat, plane & car.

  • Distribution center with food, clothing, hygiene, bedding, etc.

While the media is no longer covering the thousands who are mourning the loss of their homes and family members, you have been a bright light of hope.  Your generous giving has helped us to continue rebuilding.
